Purpose of this job: To ensure the smooth and effective running of all machines & equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, implement and manage the maintenance program with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiate reordering when necessary.
• Supervise maintenance personnel.
• Ensure that all maintenance personnel are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures of our products and equipment.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports, analyze data and makes recommendations for improving maintenance operations and solving maintenance related problems.
• Attend breakdowns and repair the equipment as specified in the equipment manufacturer’s manual.
• Maintain facilities like compressors as well as material handling equipment such as fork-lifts etc.
• Modify the machines/processes (where possible) to make the work easier and convenient.
• Assist in installation of new machinery & shift machinery as and when required.
• Outsource work which cannot be performed in the workshop & establish contacts with outside workshops.
• Carry out proper documentation of maintenance jobs

Minimum Qualification Required:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 2-5 years work experience in similar field
• Comfortable to communicate in English
